There is the visible part of building something. The strategy, the decisions, the launches, the outcomes.
And then there is everything underneath.
The part no one talks about. The part that decides everything. Waves & Valleys is a space for that part. A podcast about becoming a founder, about building a new life – but even more, about building the inner ground it stands on. Because what looks like business or career from the outside is often something else entirely on the inside.
Patterns, fears, expansion, identity.
I didn’t grow up around entrepreneurship, big companies or a prestigious network. I grew up in an East German village, the first generation after former GDR, a loving surrounding, but shaped by a system where safety mattered more than growth.
With a quiet understanding of what you do – and what you don’t.
For me, founding a business didn’t just require ideas.
It required unlearning.
In Waves & Valleys, I talk about:
- the moments where things don’t work
- the patterns we run into again and again
- the difference between pushing forward and actually moving
- what it means to create stability, not just momentum
- and how clarity is not something we get, but something we achieve
Not as advice.
But as a process with phases that I went through myself:

Waves & Valleys is not about self-optimization.
It’s about learning to stand and lead your own way with clarity, so that what you build doesn’t collapse under ourself.
Because most of the time what first feels like a career or motivation problem is none. It’s a signal of our system.
Waves & Valleys is where I follow those signals – through my own journey – and share what happens, since I stopped ignoring them.
