Julia Forchheim is a German entrepreneur and communications strategist based in the Netherlands. Her work brings together strategic thinking, creative direction and a passion for turning ambitious ideas into reality.

With a background in Design Thinking and General Management (M.A.), as well as Cultural & Media Education (B.A.), she has built her career across strategic communications, brand development and consulting.

Her professional experience spans agencies, international organisations and the innovation ecosystem, including fischerAppelt, WWF Germany and Maschinenraum. Her work has involved developing communication strategies, managing complex projects and working with diverse stakeholders across industries and cultures worldwide.

In 2026, Julia founded Coastmetics, a European skincare and lifestyle brand inspired by the world’s coasts. As founder and CEO, she has led the business from initial concept and brand positioning through product development, creative direction and market launch.

Alongside her entrepreneurial work, she established Waves & Valleys, an independent consulting brand focused on strategy, brand development, communications and founder sparring.
