Founder of Coastmetics
A new category in body care, inspired by the sea
I didn’t start Coastmetics because I wanted to build a beauty brand.
I started it because I couldn’t find what I was actually looking for.
A way to recreate a very specific feeling: calm, clear, and being fully present. The way I experienced it at the sea.
In 2023, on a beach at the Baltic coast, something shifted.
After a simple swim, my skin felt renewed. But more than that, my entire system did. I wanted to take that feeling home with me.
But I found nothing that truly captured it.
Only two extremes: clinical, generic “marine cosmetics“ or products that felt outdated and superficial.
Nothing that reflected how the sea actually feels:
gentle, atmospheric, aesthetic.
So I decided to build it.
Today, I’m the founder of Coastmetics – a body care brand inspired by the world’s coasts.
But Coastmetics is not just about products. It’s about creating moments of reconnection.
From coast to care.
Somewhere along the way, self-care became a productivity tool.
Another step. Another routine. Another box to check.
I believe that’s the problem.
We’ve lost simple ways to reconnect with ourselves in everyday life. And maybe that’s why so many of us feel overwhelmed,
without quite knowing why.
My work is an attempt to rethink that through a new category of body care:
Simple, sensory rituals inspired by the sea – bringing us back into contact with ourselves.
I’m currently building Coastmetics,
with the first line inspired by the Baltic Sea launching in 2026.
Starting with one coast and expanding to many.
